V3 Double adaptor?

My V3 came with a number of accessories, one of which is a doubl
adaptor for charging the phone and the BT headset at the same time

When connected to the PC using the USB data cable ....

1) I am told that when the double adpator is connected as well, dat
for sync can not be transferred at all. I can query the modem and get
response, but MPT does not initialize

2) The phone does not charge, but the headset does. Apparantly th
phone requires more voltage from the USB port to charge through th
double adaptor. Charges perfectly well when connected directly to th
USB

Are the any other V3 people out there that can confirm if this is th
same situation for them or not
