A760 Software / Moving messages to PC

I have an motorola A760 mobile phone which I have been using for the
last 1yr. Could anyone help me with the following :
a.) I need a way to move my sms messages to my PC since my
Inbox/SentItems folder is nearly full (8MB is so less!). Any options ?
b.) Is there any software update to the original sync software which
does the above functionality ? If so, where could I get it please.
Googling was totally not helpfull.
