Moto V120 vs. new V265 for DataConnectivity?

Posted: 01-28-2005, 02:39 AM
I have used my (previous) phone, a V120C, very successfully with my
Palm M505 to connect with the Internet using a Palm program +browser
called Blazer.

I have not been able to get my new V265 to be "seen" by the Palm (or
by my PC either) using the Moto Connectivity cable assemblies (for the
Palm and using USB connection for the PC).

Anybody have any experience changing phones and using old "systems" to
use the phone as a modem?

I have so many drivers for the Moto series in the Windows inf folder.

I guess I'm not sure which one to use. I did find that when I
connected the V265 up with the USB cable I have, Windows 'recognized"
it as a Motorola V26x (either) phone or modem. I couldn't get Windows
to "find' the correect driver (xx.inf file I guess)

Any help or ideas to help me with this wopuld be greatly appreciated.
