PST

I don't have bluetooth on my PC though. I have to use the USB.

You can pick up a Bluetooth dongle that plugs into a USB port for
under$20. You might find that worthwhile if you're going to to a lot of
downloads. I've been trying out a whole bunch of stuff from one of
those CDs I got on ebay so the BT transfer has been very good for me.

do a search for Motorola Hacker's bible. it is probably the mos
informative. i had the same problems...you can continue to click "ok
after getting the error message, but I've discovered you canno
uninstall PST if that happens.

However, PST does work in XPSP2. you have to ensure that yo
disconnect the USB cable from the phone inbetween P2kman, PST, or MPT.
You cannot have any of the three running simulatneously.

with that said, the best thing to do is to uninstall all thre
programs. if you cannot uninstall PST, reinstall PST, but first righ
click the installation file of PST, go to properties, selec
compatibility and check "run this program in compatibility for:" an
then select Windows 2000. PST will then isntall and you will not ge
the error message about service packs. after that, uninstall th
program from add/remove programs. also, uninstall WIBU-KEY which i
also listed in add/remove.

once you uninstall all three programs, reboot. go to my computer o
windows explorer, or explorer and type %temp%. select all the file
and delete them. that will empty your temp folders.

then follow the the motorla hacker's bible instructions. install MP
first (note when to connect the phone). make sure to update MPT onc
it is installed before connecting the phone.

once MPT is good, disconnect the phone, and install PST. Again, I ra
PST under compatibility mode for windows 2000
