Mobile Technology For Virtual Economy

I called my family, they had to arrange money and it took time to
travel. I had to sleep hungry.
Now I have cell phone. I can buy recharge voucher anywhere and recharge
my account. And talk to my family.
Right now, my cell phone shows Rs.104.90 balance. I think, if my
brother is in emergency of money, I should be allowed to transfer, say,
Rs.50/- out of my balance to my brother's cell phone. My SIM card is
that of idea company. If there is idea company office nearby to my
brothers location, my brother can show that Rs.50/- are transferred
from my mobile no. 'X' to my brother's mobile no. 'Y'. Also as I have
transferred money through idea company network, they have record of
transfer. They can ascertain my brother's claim and their record. If
transfer is valid, that idea company office should pay Rs.50/- to my
brother.
Of course, idea company can charge some money for this transfer. I
don't have any objection.
This way, any one can transfer money anytime, from anywhere, be it sea,
air, desert, jungle.
Gradually, physical currency can be completely eliminated. I have some
ideas about secured transfer of money. But why not start through cell
phones?
