Got a Motorola P280 that I no longer need on account of having an Ericsson
T68i. It works, and is in pretty good condition. I'm pretty sure it's
tri-band, but it could be 800/1900. Point is, it'll definitely work in
Europe. It's locked to Fido, but if that's nor a problem, post here and
we'll see what we can do.

The P280 is one the best RF performing handsets ever released for GSM. It
doesn't support 850, but it is a tri-band handset. Check
http://www.arcx.com/sites/Motorola280.htm for a review. Not the newest
handset, but it's pretty good, at the right price.

Sorry... Meant 900/1900, as opposed to 800. Moot point, since it's a
tri-band world phone as you said. 900/1800/1900 MHz, so it'll work pretty
much everywhere except on those new-fangled 850 MHz networks that seem to be
popping up everywhere.

It may not be a commonly known fact, but anywhere that you find 850 being
broadcast (on the Rogers network) you will also find (or will soon find)
1900 as well. So.. 850 and 1900 (in Canada) will have the same coverage.
