Question On Antenna For Motorola V400 & V220

I am trying to find out if the original antenna for the Motorola V400 & V220
is better than the steel retractable ones that I have been seeing. I am
trying to find out if there is an antenna made for these tow phones that
will give it more signal strength. Thanks.
