Does the MPX200 work on the Cingular network?
Posts: n/a an unlocked MPX200 but when I install the SIM card the phone still comes up "No Service" and it will not dial. Does anyone have any knowledge about this....or ideas? The only thing I can figure is that Cingular might not use the same MHz as the MPX200 but not sure. My old trusty T720 worked fine. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Posts: n/a Re: Does the MPX200 work on the Cingular network? I have a mpx200 and I am on he Cingular/ATT Wireless network. Thephone works great...You might want to consider a master reset of the phone, then install the SIMM card... Isaac

Cingular sells a quad-band version but I found sites that indicate adual-band version 1800/1900, if cingular is on 850 where you are and no at&tw or t-mobile on 1900 then guess you have the wrong MPX200. Not sure what happens then the phone is reported stolen and blacklisted but guess that is possible.
