** MOTOROLA V500 QUESTIONS ** PLEASE READ

Hi.

I have had a motorola V500 for a few months now and inly just got a USB
Data cable for it.

I have noticed on the group that people have been updating the firmware
to make it into a V600.

How is this done & where can i get the firmware from.

Also is this phone already unlocked as it's quad-band (but on a contract)
as we would like to use a Australian Pay-as-u-go card when we visit there
on holiday next year.
