I want to use Motorola Phone Tools with my Motorola V400. Apparently there
are two Motorola Data cables. SKN6311A & SKN6311B. Which one do you guys
use? And what's the difference? And are there even more than this that will
work?

If you have FE USB won't work, so you're SOL.

MPT states on the box that it only works on 98SE, 2000, ME and XP.

There are generic ones you can find on the Internet, much cheaper than the
one branded by Motorola, which will probably work just as well.

And also what about a serial cable with Windows98 First Edition? And if not
are there any other options for me? Thanks

Ok, once again. Windows 98 1st edition is not supported by mobile
phonetools in ANY way shape or form, or with ANY cable.
98 is 6 years old now, and in computer technology having windows 98 is like
driving a Pinto.
