V400 problems (a.k.a. GOD DAMN IT!!!)

Yes. Pack it well and insure it when send it in.

you didn't happen to get your phone wet . check under the battery if you
have a red dot your phone has got wet and is fried. happen to me last week.
thank god I took the insurance. when to the dealer and they gave me a new
one.

I tried all doing the * and # thing and it didn't work, and no I
didn't get it wet, so I guess I need to send it in. Thanks for the
help anyway.

By the way, does anyone know if cingular would replace it (I have had
it for 31 one days, so i might be screwed)

Not necessarily. We've resurrected a lot of wet phones. Whatever you
do, DON'T try to charge a phone that's gotten wet - that'll finish the
destruction. (And immediately removing the battery isn't a bad idea.)

Go to the dealer you bought it from and ask if he thinks he can
arrange a handset swap for you.

One more question - If it was my fault do I have to pay for it?
