Re: Is there a filesize limit on v600 for mp3's

higher. This takes up a lot of memory.
I have several mp3 ringtones on my V600.
What I have done is:
1. Select the song you want.
2. 'Cut' the section of the MP3 you want as a ringtone (there are several
tools to do this - try download.com)
3. Reduce the quality of the ringtone from (say) 192kps to (say) 48kps,
this drastically reduces the size of the file but doesn't lose too much
playback quality given the phone's limited speaker capabilities. Again there
are several tools available to do this (try download.com again).
4. This makes a neat small mp3 which you can then transfer to the phone
without any problem. I've not tried to get a whole song on yet but I am sure
it would easily be possible.
Any problems, let me know and I will set it out with the software I use.
