Land based phone group? Question on Motorloa MD481 battery life.

Is there a landbased phone newsgroup for Motorola? I picked up the 2.4Ghz
phone(MD481) and am wondering about the battery life on it. It doesn't
seem to last to long. I did the initial 12 hour charge and it has the full
bars, but after only a half hour of talking it goes down one bar(there are
only 3 bars). So I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or
know how long the battery is supposed to last? I even had Motorola replace
the battery and it does the same thing...
