Problem with V400 shut down

Do you mean the display goes black or the phone shuts totally off (and you
have to power it back on)?

I thought that was a bug in an earlier software version. The latest version
is TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.2FR_A1. What version do you have? You can goto PHONE
STATUS-OTHER INFORMATION- S/W VERSION to find out.

That is an old version. It was probably hanging around the store for a
while. If you just got the phone, bring it back and ask them to exchange it
for a newer one. You can check it out there in the store to make sure you
get a new version. Otherwise...

1) Ask your provider if there is a service center you can take it to so you
can upgrade it. My service provider sent me a replacement in the mail but
it was obviously a referb...my original was in better shape so I kept my
original.

2) Call Motorola and ask them if they have a local service center you can
take it to.

3) Purchase MSS from VictorGSM for $600 U.S dollars to do it.
