V525 really small memory for messages

Hi!

I own a V525 cell phone and I'm disappointed in two ways:

- How come is the message memory (sms,mms) so small ?
I received 30 msgs and it's full!

- Is there a way to upgrade the buggy firmware ?

By the way, do you guys know any cool codes for the V525. Been
looking for some to play but I only found the one to see the IMEI.

Try looking on HowardForums for seem edit - that's how I've changed the SMS storage from SIM to phone on my V600,

My v525 has 5MB memory which is shared between everything -- ringtones,
wallpapers, games, SMS/MMS. So if you've filled up your phone with mp3s
and games, there won't be space for many messages. Delete some of the crap
you've got lying around on your phone & you'll have more room for
messages!
