V220 - Mini USB?

Hi, Motorola Gurus...

Just wondering, the V220 USB port looks strangely similar to the Mini B
USB connector for my digicam.

I'm wondering, if I plug it in, will it do damage? and is the V220 USB
port a compatible port? (the plug fits, but I don't know if there are
other similar USB ports that might fry the phone...)

it fits.. it is just a standar mini usb port

the same one i use for my
digital camera mp3 player etc..!
