Bluetooth Connection of V600 with Palm T3

I am unable to link my Motorola V600 with Palm Tungsten T3 via
bluetooth. Both the device are unable to discover each other. Cam
someone guide me with the procedure to do the same? Do I need any
specific service from my cellular carrier (T-Mobile)?
