Found a motorola cell phone

Posted: 07-02-2004, 02:01 AM
Hi,

So far I've done this:

1. Called the one number in it's phone book. No answer. Maybe the guy's
on vacation.
2. Ad on the radio "lost and found."
3. Called AT&T the provider of the service. They told me to turn it in the
local AT&T center. I'm a little reluctant to do that, what's to say they
can't erase the programming and keep it for themselves?
4. Try to find the number of the phone, must be somewhere in the phone.

Any other ideas?

Are there any ways to find the user within the phone? My PDA for example
has my name and adress within easily accessible.

I think what might be best is to just give the serial number to the AT&T
center in town and ask them to have the registered owner call me. By the way
I'm up here in the great white north Canada.

yes, keep it turned on and see who calls. Even if its not the owner tell
the caller you found their phone.
