V500 picture quality

A while ago I posted that the pix I was getting with V500 seemed pretty
crap: there always seemed to be a 'bloom' or there was a central
yellowyness in artifical light. Guess what - I just removed a load o
pocket fluff off the lens and things are a LOT better. Talk about
missing the obvious. Mind you, there's quite a lot of compression
artifact noticeable in the detail.
