v66g alpha tag?

Hi,

Just got a v66g from T-Mobile for free (they are actually giving me 50
dollars). I was wondering if there is any way to remove "T-Mobile"
from the display and instead put my name (or anything else for that
matter).

I've researched this extensively on the web and haven't been able to
come up with the appropriate code. #PROGRAM# doesn't work, I've tried.
One post actually suggests that it's impossible to change the alpha
tag, which I find rather hard to believe.

Any help would be appreciated.
