V600 and 'Rejecting a Call'

Posted: 06-23-2004, 10:58 PM
Hi, I hope someone can help me. I am a long time user of Nokia and more
recently Sony Ericsson phones and one feature I always liked was the ability
to reject a call which sent it to Voicemail - great if you are in a meeting
etc. I used to have a Sony Z600 (another flip phone) and two presses on the
volume buttons did the trick. I now have a v600 and I can't seem to find
this feature anywhere... I know that a single press on the volume keys
silences the ring tone but I also want it push straight to Voicemail -
because most people don't wait long enough to be transferred, and if I open
the flip it will answer the call - I know I could turn that off - but that's
the point of a flip to me....

Any help or info appreciated.

Just before the meeting, switch the phone off.
That way the phone does not ring and calls go straight to voicemail.

Leave it open during the meeting, then when the call comes in, press the red
button.
