On much more modern Motorola phones the only option is to link a number to an alphabetic name the user has hand-entered into the phone. There is no option for "Caller ID Name and Number" as we know it from landline phones. I suppose this might have been a matter of CDMA getting "Caller ID Number" before landlines and never advancing when the landline SS7 protocols got "Caller ID Name" added.
