Ignore an Incoming call.

Hi anyone know if V690 can ignore an incoming call? Don't be mistaken, I
not talking about rejecting a incoming call.
When ignore a incoming call, the phone will stop it's alert (ringing and
vibrating) but the caller side will still hear the ringing tone.

....or the volume down button. Either of the volume buttons pressed during an
incoming call will cancel the audible (or vibrating) alert, yet the caller
will hear the ring at his end until it diverts to voicemail (if you have the
divert set up of course).

All moto's work that way afaik

I also expected so but don't seem to work on the V690 and V600. Press the
volume down will only reduce the volume slowly but vibrate will stil go on
and on.

Works on my V600 - pressing up or down volume keys stops all alerts during
an incoming call, sound and vibrate stops completely.

Works with flip open or closed.

I cant think of a phone setting which would stop it working properly.

Probably does not help you, but at least you know that on a V600 that is
what is supposed to happen.
