I reckon that's a great idea. I have a new V600 and Linux is the ideal
platform for this sort of stuff. Right now I can only get the Bluetooth
and USB cable connections working under win2k in VMWare but tomorrow
I'll have a better look at BlueZ.

I've been reading some of the stuff on

there is a CommConnection API for Java MIDlets. So maybe write a MIDlet
with menu items for play, pause, next, etc. and on the PC have a
program that reads /dev/rfcomm0, acting on the commands it receives.
That's what I plan to do anyway.
