V300 ringtone problems - help much appreciated!

Hi guys.

I've got a V300 on T-Mobile UK. For the past few weeks I've not been
able to access my ringtone details (Settings -> Ring Styles -> xxx
Detail (to change tone, volume etc.) Whenever I try it simply drops me
back to the main settings menu.

I've used a data cable previously and uploaded games and a few midi
songs to the phone, but nothing I can imagine that has caused a bad
corruption. Has anyone else encountered this, and did they manage to
fix it? I've searched this group top to bottom but not found anything
relating to it.

I'd appreciate any help.

Sorry all, you can disregard this message now. I performed a master
clear of the phone and it lets me change ring details now.

If this happens to anyone else, that's the course I'd recommend.

Ouch, a master reset woulda done the trick.

Nope. A master reset will set all the ringtones back to defaults,
but won't un-corrupt the ringtone list.

Has to be a master clear.
