Newbie question about V-300 phonebook memory

Posted: 04-26-2004, 03:12 AM
I bought a V-300, and I have a question about the phone book memory.
I can store to "sims" and I can store to "phone." I looked in the
manual for some explanation, but found none. Can anyone tell me the
difference between the two types of memory options?

Thanks, Bill

The SIM memory is in the little removeable SIM card under the battery.
If you take that SIM and put it in another phone you'll have the stored
numbers in the new phone. The phone memory is separate and stays with
the phone. Sound like SIM storage is the better option? Not really. Only
the phone memory can be used for Voice Dialing and Picture ID.
