Replacement battery?

week I am having to charge the battery every other day. this wouldn't be
too bad except that I txt about 2 or 3 messages a day and that's all the use
it gets. it used to run like a sweety but now the damn thing isn't holding
charge at all. I've read of this problem before but would I be better
buying a replacement battery or returning the phone (sorry wife returning
it).
