here, here.

I just got one and thought it would be fun to play with! No games at
all, so you think sensibly and check the motorola site to download
some and it helpfully tells you that the downloads are available on
the cd. The cd has nothing on it but the communication software, no
games, no useful apps.

Dissapointed so far, please help.

Ok, here's how you do it...

1. Don't plug your phone in.

2. You need the Motorola PST. Download it from
http://www.motclub.com/html/programs.htm
You need MIDway 2.8. Download it from
http://www.motclub.com/html/programs.htm
You need VictorGSM. Download it (called VictorGSM) from
http://www.motclub.com/html/programs.htm

3. When you've installed the PST, reboot. Plug your phone in, and Windows
will ask for drivers. Point it to your PST directory (c:\program
files\motorola\pst) and it will pick up the drivers, and install a Motorola
Modem.

4. Load VictorGSM, go to the Java Apps tab, and click "Activate Java
Loader" - hopefully it will find your phone and report that all is okay.

5. Close VictorGSM, disconnect your phone, and reboot it.

Your Java loader is now active. To load on Java apps:

6. Connect your phone. Go into the Control Panel on your computer, into
"Phone and Modem options", into the Modems tab, and see what COM port your
Motorola Modem is currently connected on. Note it down, and close it.

7. Unplug your phone. Go into your phone's menu, into Settings -> Java
Settings -> Java App Loader. Plug your phone in.

8. Load MIDway. Configure it to use that COM port you just wrote down.

9. In MIDway, click the "Open JAD" button on the toolbar. Find your JAD,
make sure it loads okay.

10. Click the button next to "open" which will transmit the JAD to your
phone. Look at your phone, and click the "Download" button - the JAR is now
transmitted to your phone and installed.

Hi,
I cant get the whole of this thread for some reason so not sure if
this is already answered so ill answer anyway - apologies if its a repeat.

The original software VictorGSM requires a device that plugs into the
USB port (i think) called a HASP which is sort of like a software
protection module and the software cannot be used without this.
They are available to buy from the website but are bloody expensive.

You might want to search for a copy of victorGSM on the net which is
ed. Not sure which versions available or where they are hiding but
they are definitley there somewhere!
