Can BASE ONE unit be activated in US?

Does anyone know if a Base One fixed wireless phone made by CSI
Wireless for Motorola can be activated by cell companies in the US.
It is a 3 watt TDMA/AMPS fixed wireless unit that is exactly what I
need for my country home. (It is a Motorola model FX800t) I get
conflicting answers from CSI as they don't market this phone for use
in the US.

Currently I use a 3 watt Motorola bag phone with a 1936 data
connection as a dial tone generator and a Yagi antenna. It's a
primitive system but it allows me to use my touch tone phone and fax
machine at home. I use US Cellular in Northern CA. They use TDMA
digital. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
