Tri Band - Quad - V300

Not sure which is correct or if they offer both. I guess the one with 850 and 1900 would tend to get better US reception by hooking up with both T-Mobile and Cingular sites? Or would the normal roaming with 1900 do the same thing? I can't quite figure out why they have the 850. The V600 is supposed to be quad band... Posts: n/a Re: Tri Band - Quad - V300 According to specs on Moto's websites, in USA they sell the V300 as850/900/1900. This is better for you, OP. I think other US carriers (not T-Mobile) may offer this... i'm guessing ATTWS and Cingular. Rest of the World, V300 sold as 900/1800/1900. It seems like T-MO USA are selling the "rest of the world" version. its geared more towards international travellers. Same model number, slightly different phone in terms of frequencies. They should give diff model numbers. Posts: n/a Re: Tri Band - Quad - V300, etc Apparently there are several varations within the same family ("GSM QuadBandand TriBand Portable Handset with GPRS Wireless Web and Bluetooth"): Quad band w/Bluetooth - V500, V525, V600 Quad band w/o Bluetooth - V/400 Tri band w/o Bluetooth - V300, V303 See Motorola's Declarations of Conformity at: http://www.motorola.com/rtte/PCS/MEdocs/MQ3-4411.htm It seems that the two variations being discussed in this thread are the V300/303.
