That sounds like a GSM one and the firmware often varies from carrier to
carrier. Your carrier should be able to update the firmware.

cheers, it is indeed a gsm one from here in the uk.

I have just been playing about with my nwq t720 and i am v. impressed
so far!!

btw does anyone know where i can buy another little antenna dust cap
from? hopefully some uk sites will do!

Apparently the GSM version has been quite nice from the start. The early
CDMA version here in the colonies had quite a few teething problems. I have
been having good luck with mine, but am keeping my fingers crossed. (Hope
that translates from American to English :-))

Some chargers will make the light stay on all the time, namely OEM Vehicle &
Travel chargers and some AC/DC combo chargers.
