New Housing for ST7867W?
Posts: n/a I really really want to keep my moto sprint PCS wireless web enabled ST7867W, but the housing, hinge, & (I suspect) ribbon cable are shot. I called & emailed everybody I could think of, even some folks that seem to deal with moto repairs on this group, and haven't got any response. Any suggestions on how to get the housing, hinge, & ribbon cable replaced? Thanks!  Responses to "New Housing for ST7867W?"

I want to stick with the phone I have for the following reasons: I still have 7am-8pm peak hours; $5/mo wireless web & SLOW dial up via my Palm Vx (whoops!). If I upgrade phones I have to change to PCS vision. I want to keep the same phone to avoid the $38 activation charge. Thanks for the advice! Interesting. I don't know how Sprint works, but I assume by the ESN they know your phone is incapable of using advanced features, hence no visions charges or something. Generally an activation charge is for setting up a line, not for changing a phone. But it is Sprint, with whom I have no experience. Your best bet is to use your wily female charms to coax some single man in to doing the swap work for free. Doug
