Can a V60i AT&T US work on the Rogers AT&T Canadian?

My friend has a v60i unlocked from AT&T and has it working on the Rogers ATT
network in Canada so I dont see it as a big problem.

if your V60i is the GSM model, it will work

Its a TDMA, anyway everyone I asked so far said it won't.
