Text messaging and other stuff on Motorola T720i

I've found it better than the iTap on the v60i...just little things,
like having the apostrophe be earlier in the list of characters (so you
don't need to scroll so far to the right to select it when you write
contractions like "don't", "can't", "won't", etc.). It also seems to
have a larger dictionary, and it has many words and names that I
normally I had to manually enter.

For me, it's not a problem. For other people, they complain it's too
soft. I have mine set to level 3 for volume, and I can hear it perfectly
in my car with the stereo going.

My only request with Motorola phones is that they can both ring and
vibrate at the same time, rather than vibrating for two rings, and then
ringing for two rings. Just a little nitpick.

The calander/organizer is quite advanced, in my opinion (and looks way
better in color than it did on the v60i). The alarm clock can indeed be
scheduled in the future...and includes the following repeat options:
"None", "Daily", "Weekly", "Monthly on day", "Monthly on date", and
"Yearly".

You can also set up event reminders -- i.e. if I have a date on Saturday
night at 8:00pm, I can program it to notify me two hours in advance just
so I don't forget. That can be a bit of a lifesaver in one's busy life.
