Authentication of a cloned SIM card

Posted: 01-12-2007, 06:44 PM
what happens to the original SIM card when a cloned SIM card is also available in network?

is there anyway that MSC figure out that there are two copies of a same IMSI
available in network? if yes, how?

I've never worked with a cloned SIM card, but I've heard that they both are available in network, but just one can call out; and when there's an incoming call or sms just one receives it. if it's so, which one? and why?
