hi ppl,
i am trying to use hutch GPRS on sony ericsson k790i.......

whenever i try to save settings, my cell ask for passcode ....hutch customer care told me to enter 123 but it doesnt accept 3 digit number displayihn that "text too short".......i hv tried many combination like "1234" , "12345" or "0000' but none of'em works......n it's allowin only numbers to enter........

sum1 plz help me in activating GPRS on ma cell......hutch customer care guyz r really hopeless........

hi ,

i also had the same problem with my w810i , hutch care ppl dont know anything ,

just go to their website :

here u will find the settings , Manually enter it , pretty easy , restart ur phone once , and if GPRS is already activated , then well u will be able 2 access it ,

i just tried it out after 3 frustrating days , and it works ...

this link u can enter your phone model and mobile number and they will send u the settings , Instantly . So no need 2 send Msg to 12323 or 123 which will cost 2 rs or 1 re per msg

hi,

i took the settings from hutch around a year back , and i had the sam problem, the jacka**e* at hutch dont know the password. I enetered the settings manually , i think u will find it on the Hutch ( vodaphone) website.
