change screen resolution

I hav a J300i with me...the thing is many games are having very large screen resolutions...can i change the screen resolution thru some editing the jar file or sumthing..in higher end mobile phones...like k600i and all there is an option to change the resolution within the phone itslef...but j300i doesnt hav...somebody pls help!
