first of all i m sorry if i hurt u on Jar n Jad, i never meant to hurt or insult u. i just wanted to let people know the right thing.
coming over to ur GNUBOX problem, i would first like u to go through the following links thoroughly, u can search for other material on google if u like, read everything, understand the problem and try to rectify it urself, and if u can't then plz don't worry, if there's nobody i'm still there to help u. , i m asking u to first do it urself coz i want u 2 understand the thing, thats all. i can give u step by step troubleshooting guide but i think it would be better if u understand a little bit wat u r actually doing. if u need any clarifications or help i m always here.

hey can sumone help me out!!! i jus bought a ngage qd! da fone s perfect alrite but i found one prblm after a couple of days!! da fone keeps sendin mms msgs to random numbrs frm da contacts list...evn landline nos. i have no idea wht da msg bein sent s!! i m afraid dat it cld b a virus.. cn smone help me out? i have no aplications installed as of now! waitin fr help nd replies!! thnks in advance!!

it surely is a virus coz it is sending messages without ur knowledge. did u buy it from an authorised nokia shop? u say that u did not application with it so it is possible that u bought the phone with virus or installed without ur knowledge. give me a list of applications present on ur phone. i would try to tell u wat u need to remove from ur cell. since it is a series 60 symbian phone u can use FExplorer 1.14 to generate a list of applications present on ur phone. download it from applications section. generate a list and post it here. this would help me to find any unauthorised application on ur phone.

hey thnx a lot tigerji!! i did wht u told me! i put my frnz memory card wid anti virus in mine nd found dat it ws indeed a virus! commwarrior it seems! nw it normal! nw i have a couple of more doubts... i m plannin to buy a bluetooth dongle but my frnd s tellin me to take a 'mmc card reader'!! wht s dat? wht s da diff? nd whch one wld u advise? nd wid usin both cn i transfer sum ngage games frm my comp to mobile? nd btw cn i use ed games downloaded frm morpheus? s it safe?

hi genuine, glad 2 know that ur problem is solved and at the same time i m sorry that i have not been able to give time 2 the forum as i m out of station currently. I m replying frm my cellphone. Coming over 2 the difference b/w a BT dongle & card reader, A card reader as the name suggests, is used to read/write data on ur MMC. The reader is plugged 2 ur comp & card is put into it. On the other hand a BT dongle directly connects ur phone(+MMC) to ur comp via wireless bluetooth link. U have the freedom to walk with ur phone in the bluetooth footprint area. Bluetooth is faster than IrDA but slower than card reader in terms of data transfer rate. So if data transfer rate is ur primary concern go for a card reader. Since u connect ur phone 2 pc via BT u have the option 2 use it as a GPRS modem , u can also use it as a remote control or webcam for ur pc thru some applications. Remember 4 BT u need 2 hav Win Xp with Service Pack 2. Choice is urs.
