it's BACK!! TigerNES: 8-bit Nintendo Gaming Console Emulator exclusively for GsmHacks

Posted: 01-20-2006, 01:53 PM
GsmHackers,
this is a repost of TigerNES 1.0 to makeup for the loss of previous post in the recent crash.
=========================================
what is TigerNES ?
TigerNES is an Emulator for playing all the 8 bit Nintendo Classics like Super Mario Bros.,Contra, BomberMan, PacMan, Battle City (more than a thousand games) etc on ur PC. although it is a PC application i have posted it in mobile gaming section coz i believe one who likes Vnes would also love to play the same games on PC.

The Emulator has been made by me i.e. TIGERJI exclusively for GsmHacks.Com.
Since it is released exclusively for GsmHacks.Com i have made the forum its home as u can see from the screenshot.
i have branded it unofficially with the forum.
if u want it get it from GsmHacks.Com is all i say

admin and mods i did this simply becoz of my affection for gsmhacks.com. if doing so goes against the interests of the forum i once again promise that i would take the emulator down and remove all references to the forum from it. just let me know.

special thanks to Diginet , Evil_Night13 and others for the quick response u gave to last post of TigerNES. especially Evil_Night13, u keep a close watch on my posts.

  • the roms which do not work with Vnes will be posted here, just give me some time and keep visiting this thread.
  • roms which work with Vnes will also work woth TigerNES.
  • the emulator has support for gamepads which can be mapped as per ur choice so that u could enjoy the game as it was meant to be. it also means u can play 2 player games if u have 2 gamepads ( or keyboard + gamepad combinatin). it also supports mouse for shooting games which used a gun e.g. Duck Hunt
  • u can also record video and sound of gameplay but only in nintendo sound and video format which can be played back only on the emulator.
  • multilple game save and load slots are also available, so u don't have to worry about a powercut or loss of life or leaving a game in between coz u can save a game at any slot at any point in the game and start from the same point when u start the game next time or in between a game, u just have have to load the saved state. u can save and load a game state any number of times.
This was just a little description of my work. run the emulator on PC and play with the settings to get the most out of it.
Best of Luck.!!

Asterix

this rom does not work in Vnes properly so it is here.
u can play it in TigerNES

Asterix

The game appeared 1993 on the then current Nintendo consoles (Game Boy, NES, super Nintendo). The game of the type Jump'n'Run for a player appeared likewise with Infogrames.

The review by " *** ******" (translated)
the Gameplay succeeded really well, those to control goes easily from the hand and also the levels very fair was arranged. Graphically the game can really convince. Beautiful ones background and good animated Sprites please the eye. Also acoustically Asterix can stand out against the average clearly. Thus Infogrames typically composed Musiken waits those for the player, always excellently to the level never fits and nerves. The sound effects succeeded likewise well. The none, which probably gives it too criticized, is the fact that the play did not fail too simply and too briefly 12 levels looks at first sight times like few however is this partial so briefly that an experienced player with the play is finished already after 20 minutes. In addition it comes still that one is covered up by the bonus levels quite with extra lives, so that no lack will develop surely to it. Nevertheless Asterix is a Jump ' n ' run, the in any case succeeded really well for kurzweilige maintenance to provide can."
