Finally GeoHot has released his BlackRa1n jailbreak for Windows users only. So Now iphone 3.1.2 users can Jialbreak there iphone with this Tool. The BlackRa1n jailbreak will work with the latest 3.1.2 firmware; however, it will not hacktivate your iPhone. This means that if you are not on an official Apple approved carrier BlackRa1n cannot activate it.

WARNING: GeoHot jailbreak supports 3.1.2 do not update if you are on iPhone OS 3.0.1 or 3.0. Warning 3g and 3gs unlockers, do not upgrade to 3.1.2 using iTunes if you want to keep your unlock. Baseband cannot be downgraded. This one is Only Jailbreak not the Unlock. It worked on iphone 2G, 3G, 3GS.

Here is the Guide to Jailbreak iphone 3.1.2 :-

1.Download the BlackRa1n from here and save it on Desktop( Click the Windows logo at the bottom of the screen. )
2. Download and install the iTunes 9
3. Now update or restore to the original iPhone OS firmware 3.1.2 on your iPhone by using the latest version of iTunes. Download link for iPhone 3.1.2 is on the end of the post.




4. Make sure youriPhone connected to the computer then click blackra1n app that you save in Desktop ( Step 1)
5. Now click the large make it ra1n button.


6. You iPhone will now be placed in recovery mode.
7. Now you will see a picture of GeoHot that replaces the regular recovery mode screen on your device.




8. blackra1n will run and then your device will reboot.
9. Once your device reboots it will be jailbroken and you will notice a blackra1n icon on the desktop. Make sure you have an WiFi connection and press to launch the application.
10. Now download Cydia From blackra1n app and let it install it.
