The biggest news about the new Bluetooth hub from AIRcable (professional installation) is that it has a 30km range. It has a 9dBi omni-directional antenna that provides a range of 2km and the 18dBi directional antenna offers a range of 10Km. It can extend the range of weaker Bluetooth devices like cell phones and headsets by hundreds of meters. Thanks to its high sensitivity and long-range it can extend the range of shorter-range Bluetooth devices up to 100 m. The AIRcable Host XR hooks on to any computer with a USB port and works with Windows, Mac and Linux supporting practically any Bluetooth profile available. The standard antenna that is included gives a 1Km range.
