GSM Hack Info Please

Hello,

I am currently working for a "local" <small state wide> company using GSM phones for customers. I am looking for any information that I may be able to use that will help get customer's phones working better and to full capability, be it forcing them to work and/or working around the network issues. I would appreciate any information you have to offer.
