CSD via N70

Amazingly, it seems that you cannot dial up using CSD/GSM Data on the N70. I
need to do be able to do this to access my company's private netwrok.

Are there any workarounds or third party software which would allow this?

CSD will only work if (a) the carrier supports it and (b) it has been
activated on your account. Contact your carrier.

Just to be clear: is that the case specifically for the N70?

That is true for *any* GSM-standard phone.

Then I'm not sure this applies here. The N70 can be used as a modem
externally (by a pc, say) to dial into a network, just not via a connection
on the phone itself ie for its own apps. I was hoping some kind of third
party connection manager would enable this.

The Nokia phone must come with PC Suite, try connecting using this SW.
