I was wondering about using a pdaphone to connect to skype wirelessly using
something like the hp 6365 or an o2 etc. is it possible and would one be
able to use the phones speaker and microphone or would one ned a bluetooth
headset

It is possible on a PC (using Skype software and an appropriate headset), but
cellular latency is pretty bad, resulting in long pauses before you hear
responses from the other party. In a word, painful.
