It's my personal belief that I do better having a good BT phone plus a good
BT PDA. As long as the phone is nearby the PDA will link to the net via the
phone. This allows me to change either the phone (e.g. switch carriers) or
PDA without having to give up the other. Another issue for me is that I
often go places where I'm not allowed to take a phone and/or camera but the
PDA is not an issue. With them combined it would be. Also, there's never any
question about using a PDA on a plane, a phone, even in aircraft mode will
often raise questions.
