Switching from TCH/F to TCH/H, during speech communication??

I have a speech communication setup between 2 GSM users. The
communication channel that is used between BTS and the user is TCH/F.
Is it possible to switch this to a TCH/H channel dynamically, without
much disturbance to the users?
