Virgin Mobile,, UK ????

Posted: 05-20-2005, 01:07 PM
Hi

I have a trip planned to the Scotland next month..
I picked up a new Virgin Mobile SIM(pay-as-u-go) on ebay,,
Put it in my T68i and it linked to t-mobile (the USA roaming agent)..
Went to the www.virgin.com/modile site and after some very slow servers,, was able to get
the phone, SIM, & me registered.

I have not been able to sign into the site (https),, to get to the Virgin 'top-off' page
to set up minutes.
I keep getting: "sorry we are experiencing difficulties"..

Does anyone use Virgin??

As an aside,, I had to re-install norton av/fw last week,, wonder if it's ok??

Thanks
Jim

Go into a Tesco, Safeway etc supermarket and pick up a free charge up card.
Register it using your mobile to lock it to your sim.
Go back into the supermarket and say you want 10pounds credit on the phone,
pass the till operator your registered card.
By the time you've cleared the supermarkets homeland security body and
baggage search at the exit your 'phone will have credit.
