I think you should change a Mobile if you want to support chinese.

The latest or upcomming mobiles are almost supportting chinese
language sets.
(I am not sure those are on the Market)

And maybe the price policy might be different each models.

There might be same models which is different at supporting language.
(only english, only read chinese, read and write chinese)

You can easily check a language which is supporting at menu,Phone
Settings -> Language. It has a option for chinese.
