Portuguese Sony CMD J6 unlocking

coming to work here in Italy. She has a Sony CMD J6 phone that she
bought two years ago in Portugal with a prepay SIM associated with
Optimus Telecomunicacoes, S.A. I contacted Optimus but they want 100
Euro to unlock the phone, which seems outrageous to me. I want to do
this lady a favor and help her unlock her phone for a more decent amount
of money so she can use it with the Service Provider of her choice here
in Italy. How do I go about this?
