In Puerto Rico you will find AT&T GSM and also Cingular (I beleive).
If you find any T-Mobile, please let us know.
St. Kitts & Nevis has cellular service by Cable & Wireless
(www.cw.com.)Not sure if they have a working GSM signal yet. There
should be TDMA.
St. Marteen or St. Martin? Small island shared by France & NL? Lots of
GSM. Pick one.
You didn't name your carrier. Can't say if you'll be able to roam any
of these. It would be helpful if people asking about the Caribbean
would name the countries, not just the islands or ports. Unless the
island is the country (e.g. Barbados) it gets hard to sort out.

I was just in St Martin/St. Maarten and St. Barth over the Holidays. I'm a
T-Mobile customer, and was easily able to roam all over both islands.
Orange Caribe and TelCel seemed to be the predominant carriers, though there
are others on the island. There was NO GPRS roaming, however. All data had
to be done via CSD, which would have proven very costly.
My recommendation is to find an internet cafe for data. They are abundant,
and relatively inexpensive, about 5 Euros per half hour.
